The SAVA EV Lowrider Team was selected to showcase their project at the prestigious Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, D.C.— a national celebration of youth leadership, cultural identity, and creative innovation. During the festival, SAVA students showcased their 1964 Impala EV Lowrider, led hands-on activities, and participated in youth-driven community panel sessions. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity placed the students at the heart of a national conversation about creativity, sustainability, and intergenerational learning.
