Youth and the Future of Culture

The EV Lowrider Project has been selected to showcase and represent Sacramento at the prestigious Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington, D.C.—a national celebration of youth leadership, cultural identity, and creative innovation. Featured in the Streetwise section, the project will reach hundreds of thousands of visitors and offer national recognition to students, educators, and sponsors alike.

SAVA students will present the EV lowrider, lead hands-on activities at our booth, and participate in youth-driven community panel sessions. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity places our students at the heart of a national conversation about creativity, sustainability, and intergenerational learning.
